Tobsha Learner: author, playwright and screenwriter

YEARN

YEARN, tales of lust and longing'  is my latest collection of short stories and the last in the trilogy of QUIVER and TREMBLE. The stories in Yearn are set in both the US, Australia and the UK and although erotic, are really an exploration in both erotic obsession and longing - like QUIVER AND TREMBLE the characters are often ordinary people in extraordinary situations - from a young secretary who becomes obsessed by a TV weather man and finds herself psychically predicting the weather before he gives his nightly report, to a obese call center worker in San Diego who lives a highly charged erotic life life solely on 'Second life' until she finds love in real life, to a 19th century biographer who finds himself embroiled in a Polynesian sex rite inspired by a diary by Sir Joseph Banks, YEARN is a poignant medley of  sex, yearning, lust and heart-wrenching twists. I'm personally very proud of the craft and work that has gone into this work.
