Tobsha talks about The Witch Of Cologne
There are several strands to my writing. My historical thrillers have both supernatural and mystical themes often set against political and exotic landscapes. The Witch Of Cologne is an epic love story set in 17th century Germany about a Jewish midwife who is tried for being a witch. Soul cuts between the story of a young Irish murderess in 19th London and her great granddaughter who is a geneticist working in 20th century Los Angeles. Sphinx, set in President Sadat's Egypt 1977, is an adventure thriller about an English geophysicist Oliver working in the oil industry who inherits a mystical ancient astrarium.
My erotic fiction includes the collections of short stories Quiver and Tremble. These combine adult fairy tales, sexy fables and the supernatural with real emotion and humour. Quiver is a little more explicit than Tremble: Sensual fables of the mystical and sinister - which is really more of the fantastical married with eroticism and irony.
I also write plays for stage and radio - some comedy, some serious political and emotional drama, some historical. Please enjoy!
